- The article profiles science writer Steven M. Spencer. He worked on the "Philadelphia Bulletin" where his co-employees approach him for advice related to medicine. As a science writer, Spencer has talked to several physicians and has begun to look like one. He had studied a total of 35 technical papers and interviewed at least ten physicians in the U.S.
