This article reports that enterprise applications has become more robust and smarter. Web-based application developers have used Asynchronous Java-Script and XML (AJAX) to upgrade client-side performance and produce useful interface shortcuts since 2000, but this year there was a scope of AJAX innovations. AJAX was not the only method which was for delivering a rich client experience in the Web browser. A client experience around AJAX has been developed by Zimbra Inc. which gives users a Web browser interface which presents the robust experience which would otherwise only be seen in a dedicated client such as Outlook. Zimbra is allowed by AJAX integration to presents some innovative features, like giving users the ability to work in context. Some consolidation is occurring, but it appears that vendors are still able to differentiate, compete and innovate on price. Salesforce.com Inc. is setting an innovation example. Salesforce.com and its partners required to figure out to unify management. Users may never know that they are using two different types of applications when using the Salesforce.com service and one of its partner applications.
