Abstract
- The article discusses a study which examined whether adolescents' perceived risk for sexually transmitted disease (STD) is correlated with perceptions about partners' STD-related risk behaviors. Most adolescents perceived their partners to be involved in drug and alcohol use during the course of their relationships. More than two third of participants reported that they thought their partner had gotten and HIV test.
