Abstract

The article focuses on Reggie Bush, a running back from USC, who easily outdistanced Texas quarterback Vince Young in voting for the Heisman Trophy. Bush won every region of the U.S. with relative ease. He even picked up the first-place vote on the ballot cast by USC quarterback Matt Leinart, who won last year's Heisman. Bush is the seventh Heisman Trophy winner from USC and the fourth Heisman-Trophy winning running back from San Diego, California. Nobody brought as much attention to college football this season as Bush. INSET: Bush in a Landslide.
