Abstract

The article describes the work and the woes of an army cook. Aside from having a stressful job involving food preparation, cooking and cleaning the mess hall, an army cook usually faces the complaints and the ill behavior of soldiers. The importance of his role in the army is emphasized. Moreover, the proper decorum and responsibilities of an army cook are described.
