Abstract
- The article profiles Tom McLaughlin, a sales-promotion manager for "The Saturday Evening Post." The manager begun to read and grant mailed wishes of underprivileged children to Santa Claus in the U.S. He treated the periodical as a woman. Due to an order from a physician, McLaughlin decided to end his career in the publication.
