Key A400M subsystem selections, some considerably delayed, are also being lined up. Airbus Military has finally selected its provider of missile warning equipment, too, a decision that comes more than a year later than anticipated. Moreover, the team has altered its technical approach. At one point, the A400M was to be fitted with an off-the-shelf system; instead, managers have opted for a developmental item.
