Abstract

Building on the work of the theologian Miroslav Volf, and developed in the context of Christian–Muslim interaction, this paper explores the use of the Christian scriptures as a resource in conflict and post-conflict situations. It considers their value especially for those who perceive themselves as victims, enabling new understanding and expression of issues of land and identity, revenge, memory and reconciliation.
