Propuesta de análisis para el estudio de la competitividad en la economía cubana.

The tourist development and the deplorable situation of the Cuban financial status including the vague future conditions of the international sugar market, demand nowadays, more than ever, a correct measurement of both the economic efficiency and competitiveness in the national sugar industry. In the study of economic efficiency the main aspects are: the analysis of competitiveness, the feasibility of external sales or the replacement of imports, to carry out new projects and exchange rates, among others. This article shows an analytical criterion of methodological dimension to be considered in all investment decision related to a production of marketing goods. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
