Caracterizatión de las ceras obtenidas del propóleos de la región de Manzanillo para su posible utilización en formulaciones farmacéuticas y Cosméticas.

This paper is focused on the caracterization of the waxes obtained from propolis (Manzanillo's region). As a reference, was taking the waxes of the bee with pharmaceutical quality (USP XXIII). The quality indexs obtained showed that the waxes could be use in cosmetics and therapeutics formulation. The fatty acids and alcoholes of the waxes of propolis without clarifying were analizated by the technique of Gas Chromatography attached to Especthrometric of Mass. Some of them were identified and they presented low acidity and good quality. It was demostrated that the waxes has antimicrobian effectiveness againt Gram (+) stumps of the waxes of propolis.
