Abstract

The agricultural sector in India contributes a huge amount to the GDP and livelihood of the Nation. To get a fruitful yield, the crop's water level, soil fertility, and weather parameters need to be checked and maintained efficiently and timely. To make that task easier, our project focuses on checking plant/crop water levels on time and sending notifications to the respective end users with access and authority through an IoT-based application, which enables the user to access and monitor the crop remotely and take necessary actions based on the observations and conditions on time. Things are associated with the web in the era of booming technologies and advancement. This can be achieved with the integration of respective sensors with the booming advancement in the applications of IoT. Our system uses a soil moisture sensor, having a Node MCU microcontroller as the heart of our concept which is responsible for the core operations of our system. The Wi-Fi module enables the measured parameters from the sensors to be sent to the application and notify the user. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
