La educación financiera como herramienta estratégica para la gestión y formación integral en las universidades del Ecuador.

This paper addresses financial education as a strategic tool for management and comprehensive training in Ecuadorian universities. The problem lies in the high rate of default registered in the country, which reaches up to 29.24% in certain entities, as well as in the decrease in adequate employment (35.3%) and the increase in underemployment (23.9%) according to data from ENEMDU and the Superintendency of Banks. This adverse financial panorama directly affects students and future professionals. A quantitative approach was used, using analysis of secondary data from official sources and studies from indexed journals. The results highlight the need to integrate financial education programs into university curricula, which could improve economic decision-making and the financial stability of students. This work impacts the design of public and educational policies that promote a solid financial culture. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
