Abstract

The study aims to investigate the effects of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) and porous medium on the inner channel walls, as well as to conduct a surface roughness analysis for the peristaltic flow of Jeffery fluid through a non-uniform inclined channel. The problem is formulated using the conservation of mass, momentum, and energy equations in a Cartesian system. To simplify the calculations, a lubrication approach is employed for exact solutions. The paper has discussed the impact of a number of parameters, such as surface roughness, Hartman number, Jeffery parameter, permeability parameter, etc., for velocity, temperature at the wall, surface uniform temperature, pressure rise, and streamline patterns. Thus, one would communicate that the effects of the Hartman number and the permeability parameter cannot be neglected for the peristaltic transport of fluid with surface roughness. This is an important step, presented in a much clearer expression, opening the way for more detailed exploration of the various effects on flow models due to surface roughness.
