Abstract

The objective of the work was to apply contextualized experimental tasks in chemistry to improve the investigative skills of perception, instrumental and thinking in students of the Professional Academic School of Civil Engineering of the National University of Cajamarca. The method was inductive, applied, pre-experimental design, applied to 60 students. The methodology consisted of a pre and a post-test, with an intervention program of three experimental tasks. The results were that: the students improved their perceptual, instrumental and thinking skills from 42,25 % to 79,53 %, from 40,03 % to 82,05 % and from 41,13 % to 73,16 %, respectively. The statistical t test of student was carried out, finding the value of "experimental t of 73,44 greater than the theoretical t, with a significant difference between the means, concluding that the experimental tasks contextualized in chemistry improved the investigative skills studied.
