Abstract

This work addresses the professional development of teachers through workshops on active methodologies, held in a city in the interior of Santa Catarina. Qualitative research adopted the case study as methodology, aiming to understand the contribution of two workshops to the teachers of the municipal Basic Education network. In the workshops, activities such as interactive oral presentations on active methodologies, simulated juries, poster making, and group discussions on the practical application of these methodologies in education were developed. The results of the workshops included a greater understanding and reflection on active methodologies, the promotion of debate on their practical application in the educational context, and the creative expression of participants through activities such as poster making. The importance of continuous training for teachers to improve their pedagogical practices and promote professional development is highlighted. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
