Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present the value of recovering virtue ethics from the perspective of Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas. To this end, the thought of Alasdair MacIntyre will be referenced, who expressed the importance of reclaiming virtue ethics and the value of the local community in contrast to the moral frameworks proposed in modern times.
