Within this varied panorama, a prominent place belongs to the issue of penal sanction. A very delicate topic that D'Agostino addressed in his own way, adopting a markedly inter- and multidisciplinary perspective. Therefore, this essay aims to explore the profound thinking of Francesco D'Agostino on legal sanction, analyzing his distinctive contribution from both a philosophical and legal perspective. Due to its peculiar thematic richness, it seems to me that La Sanzione nell'esperienza giuridica represents an excellent text to (re)read today, in order to pay the right tribute to an incomparable philosopher of law.
