Abstract
- The simulation is often required to assess a new model, identify problems with an existing design, and test a system under conditions that are hard to reproduce in an actual system. In this article, necessary simulations have been carried out on superparamagnetic nanoparticles considering a wide range of particle sizes and distribution widths purposefully to obtain the underlying magnetic features which cannot be envisioned easily by experimental studies. The present study demonstrates that the particle sizes and distribution widths of nanoparticle assembly have significant effect on controlling its ZFC/FC magnetization and isothermal M-H curves. The log-normal distribution function helps us to simulate the magnetic features in a reasonable fashion for distributed nanoparticles. The algorithm used for computer simulation of the present work is quite efficient as far as time is concerned. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
