Abstract

In the present study, the effects of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) in elderly patients were evaluated. The study included 170 consecutive patients whose clinical and echocardiographic improvements were evaluated after 6 months of follow-up. Survival was evaluated up to 2 years. The effects of CRT in elderly patients (age ≥70 years) were compared with those in younger patients (age <70 years). [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
