Abstract
- In the present study, the effects of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) in elderly patients were evaluated. The study included 170 consecutive patients whose clinical and echocardiographic improvements were evaluated after 6 months of follow-up. Survival was evaluated up to 2 years. The effects of CRT in elderly patients (age ≥70 years) were compared with those in younger patients (age <70 years). [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
