Yogyakarta Special Region also known as the city of education and the city of culture, has now turned into a crowded city with the main problem of congestion. In particular, the Yogyakarta Metropolitan Area (YMI) is the focus of this study, which intends to investigate the link between activity space and physical and mental health issues in the community. The data used in this study is dairy activity data in Yogyakarta Metropolitan Area (YMA). Data collection was carried out in July – August 2019. Time use and participation in individual activities are collected for 4 days. A total of 400 respondents were involved in the survey after the initial data processing was carried out. Descriptive analysis related to data that can be analyzed for further stages in this research review is as many as 393 respondents. This research will be analyzed using IBM SPSS software version 26. The dataset will be eliminated using factor analysis to eliminate non-contributing factors. The results showed that the use of out-of-home grocery shopping activities and in-home online activities had a negative correlation with physical health. Increased time spent on leisure, maintenance, and out-of-home activities can enhance mental health issues. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
