Abstract
- This article aims to analyze academic productions on Teacher Training and the Escola da Terra Program in the context of Countryside Education. Regarding the methodology, we opted for a qualitative approach, inspired by the State of the Art, using a survey of dissertations, theses and scientific journals. The following descriptors were used: "Countryside Education", "Teacher Training" and "Escola da Terra Program". The time frame corresponds to the period from 2012 to 2022. It is concluded that the quantity and quality of research carried out in the last decade are of paramount importance for the construction of knowledge and for understanding the challenges that still need to be overcome, so that people who live in the field can, in fact, receive a high-quality education. Scientific research, the production of knowledge and its systematization are points of convergence, when the aim is to solve a problem of the practical life. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
