Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the role of executive public policy towards solid waste management in the capital, Sana'a, Republic of Yemen, the study used the descriptive analytical approach, and the questionnaire as a tool for the study included (25 items) distributed on two axes executive public policy and solid waste management. Applied to a sample of workers in the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in the Capital Municipality amounting to (59) individuals, who were selected by the non-random intentional sampling method the study reached the most prominent results: that the level of executive public policy practice came with an average degree with an arithmetic mean (3.25), and a standard deviation (0.76), and the level of Solid waste management with an average degree with an arithmetic mean (2.91), and a standard deviation (0.67), and the results showed a role for the executive general policy towards solid waste management at the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in the capital, Sana'a, confirmed by values of (47.407 = F) and (T = 6.885) with a significance level of (.000).
