Abstract
- The article discusses an experiment using a reed relay to map the magnetic field of a solenoid coil. The setup involves measuring the electrical currents at which the relay turns on and off, calculating relay constants, and plotting experimental and theoretical magnetic field dependences. The experiment is suitable for high school and undergraduate students and can be adapted to measure the magnetic field of a permanent magnet. The study was supported by the Scientific Grant Agency of the Ministry for Education of the Slovak Republic and conducted by Mária Kladivová and Peter Duranka, experts in physics and engineering.
