Carbamazepine: Stevens-Johnson syndrome: case report.

A 19-year-old woman with epilepsy developed Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) after starting treatment with carbamazepine. She had been taking other medications for epilepsy prior to starting carbamazepine. The woman experienced fever, painful sores, blisters, and mucous discharge from her eyes, leading to a diagnosis of SJS.
