Abstract
- A 19-year-old woman with epilepsy developed Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) after starting treatment with carbamazepine. She had been taking other medications for epilepsy prior to starting carbamazepine. The woman experienced fever, painful sores, blisters, and mucous discharge from her eyes, leading to a diagnosis of SJS. After receiving a combination of medications, her condition improved, and she was discharged after 14 days of treatment. [Extracted from the article]
