Lumbar puncture (LP) is an essential gesture for numerus diagnostics, but also difficult to learn as student in medicine are not sufficiently trained for it. The use of simulation with augmented reality is a good solution to overcome the lack of trainings. In this article, we present an intervention on Sim&Care a lumbar puncture simulator using augmented reality that aims at enhancing LP trainings. In a human centered approach, we used several methods (interviews, expert analyses, observations) before we proposed series of recommendations to (1) adapt learning paths to users and (2) optimize information transmission to allow students to use Sim&Care without any help.
