Abstract
- This paper focuses on the results of an exploratory study on the financial education of young adults, with the objective to designing a didactic tool to help them manage their budgets. Semi- structured interviews with 12 young adults allow us to 1) understand the situations of daily budget management that can create difficulties, 2) propose a first categorization of these situations and 3) identify the process of financial autonomy with respect to their family that is at work and can constitute a learning vector. These elements allow us to position ourselves on what we consider to be "financial education" and to define the premises of a didactic tool. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
