Abstract
- The article presents letter to the editor focuses on evaluating the heparin-calibrated chromogenic anti-Xa assay for detecting threshold levels of direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) in urgent settings, such as acute ischemic stroke. Topics include the need for accurate assessment of DOAC levels for thrombolytic therapy, the comparison of heparin-calibrated anti-Xa assays with DOAC-specific assays, and the study's findings on the sensitivity and limitations of the heparin-calibrated assay.
