Abstract

The article analyzes the representation of posthuman gigantism in Central American migrants in transit to the United States in the novels "Amarás a Dios sobre todas las cosas" by Alejandro Hernández and "Las tierras arrasadas" by Emiliano Monge. It examines the actions of necropowers, deadly machines, and the transfiguration of the colossal bodies of migrants, highlighting their condition of uprooting and treatment as posthumans. The works reflect the violence and dehumanization in precarious migration, relating to necropolitics and necropolitical gigantism in Mexico and the United States. [Extracted from the article]
