Abstract
- This study will examine the economic evaluation of two different species of chilies, Guntur and Ramnadmundu (Capsicum annuum), when grown using NPK fertilisers. The overall goal of this study is to boost the growth rate of sunn hemp (Novel Crotalaria juncea). Materials and Methods of Procedure: In the course of this investigation, the experimental farming field was chosen to have dimensions of 460 centimetres by 230 centimetres. Capsicum Annuum (Guntur) and Ramnad Mundu were the two varieties of chilies that were utilised in the experiment (Capsicum Annuum). There were a total of forty people that took part, with twenty people coming from each of the groups. Through the utilisation of clinical.com, the G-power analysis indicated a significance level of 80 percent, a threshold of 0.05, and a confidence interval of 95 percent for the evaluation of the sample size. Various tests were carried out at the soil test analysis centre located in the state of Tamil Nadu. Based on the statistical analysis of the group statistics for chilies, the mean value for Ramnadmunduchillies was found to be 123, while the mean value for Guntur chillies was 101. The net returns for Ramnadmunduchillies were 2453, while the net returns for Guntur chillies were 2020. The statistical study found that the economics of chillies has a significant value of p=0.002 (p<0.05), indicating that it is statistically significant. Taking everything into consideration, the green variety of Ramnadmundu chilies had a mean economic worth of 122.65 euros. When compared to Guntur chilies, Ramnadmunduchillies were more successful from an economic standpoint. Growing chiles using sunn hemp (Novel Crotalaria juncea) and fertiliser that provides nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium is one technique to enhance the economy of chillies. This is one of the various ways that chillies can be grown. Rather than concentrating on the economics of Guntur chiles, this study is more concerned with the Ramnadmundu. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
