Abstract

The article explores the impact of a mental health community symposium on nursing students' knowledge and attitudes towards mental illness. It discusses the challenges faced by nursing students in mental health courses, such as societal stigma and personal mental health issues. The study used innovative pedagogical methods to enhance students' understanding of mental health nursing care, resulting in improved attitudes towards mental illness and increased knowledge. The findings suggest that innovation positively influences nursing students' attitudes and learning outcomes in mental health nursing courses. [Extracted from the article]
