Abstract
- In recent years China has paid increasing attention to the intangible cultural heritage of printing and dyeing and its inheritance and development have important value and significance. The research on intangible cultural heritage items regarding Chinese traditional printing and dyeing is more focused on printing and dyeing manual skills but the exploration of its spatial distribution and related influencing factors is insufficient and it is impossible to intuitively explore its internal distribution law. In this paper from the perspective of geography we use ARCGIS software to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of intangible cultural heritage items regarding traditional printing and dyeing and summarize their spatial distribution law. To promote the regional synergistic development of these intangible cultural heritage items and break the limitations of administrative division it provides new methods and theoretical reference. The data in this paper are taken from a total of 184 provincial intangible cultural heritage lists published by provinces from which 294 items of intangible cultural heritage regarding traditional printing and dyeing are obtained through screening. With the technical support of ARCGIS the spatial and temporal information of these intangible cultural heritage items is stored and analyzed in a dynamic perspective by using such methods as nearest neighbor index and kernel density estimation. In this paper through the imbalance index of the intangible cultural heritage items it is concluded that the distribution of them shows the pattern of being 'dense in the east and sparse in the west through the analysis of nearest neighbor index the items show the distribution of agglomeration through the analysis of kernel density they show the structure of 'multi-core-ring kernel group as the basis. Through the analysis of the nearest neighbor index they show the distribution of agglomeration through the analysis of nuclear density they show a concentrated and continuous distribution structure based on a 'multi-core-ring core group . Through the analysis of the influence factors of intangible cultural heritage items regarding traditional printing and dyeing it can be seen that under the influence of the natural environment the more the natural resourcess the more they are distributed under the influence of history and culture they are mostly concentrated in the southwest region under the influence of economic factors the southwestern ethnic minority areas are influenced less by the impact of the modern economy and culture so they are more retained in these areas. Combined with the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of intangible cultural heritage items regarding traditional printing and dyeing the following development strategies can be adopted. Firstly given their distribution pattern of in the east and west the east-west linkage mode can be adopted according to the respective natural resource advantages of the east and west regions which can effectively expand the development space of them. Secondly given the concentrated distribution pattern of them traditional printing and dyeing techniques can be combined and constantly enriched by innovation. Finally given the concentrated distribution structure of intangible cultural heritage items regarding traditional printing and dyeing of the 'multi-core-ring core group cultural and tourism resources can be shared to organize regular and shared related activities around the core areas so as to realize cross-regional linkage. The results of the study can provide a new exploration path for the inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage items regarding traditional printing and dyeing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
