Abstract

Some micromoths were collected in the subalpine zones of Mt. Nokogiri-dake (alt. about 2,560 m) and Mt. Kai-Komaga-take (alt. about 2,580 m) in the northern Akaishi Mountains, Yamanashi Pref., Japan, in July. Sixteen species of six moth families were recognized: Adelidae: Nemophora ochsenheimerella, Incurvariidae: Phylloporia bistrigella, Roeslerstammiidae: Roeslerstammia erxlebella, Yponomeutidae: Argyresthia conjugella, Gelechiidae: Chionodes sp. nr. soella, Tortricidae: Lozotaenia kumatai, Clepsis jinboi, Acleris comariana, Acleris sp., Apotomis vigens, Epinotia piceae, Epinotia pinicola, Rhopobota ilexi, Fibuloides aestuosa, Matsumuraeses sp., Grapholita tenebrosana.
