Abstract

The dredging ship's cutter tools operates underwater at different temperatures, water conditions (pollution, waves, salinity etc.), different dredging soil, the velocity of rotating, and time1. However, it is necessary to develop new methods of processing and repair which will increase the wear resistance, corrosion resistance and increase the operating life of the working surfaces. The main objective of this report is to present a test stand for experimental research of the hydro-abrasive wear of hard coatings applied on the surface of the dredging cutter tool after reconditioning. Experimental research is possible by changing different factors -- velocity, time, type of water, welding layer, and the abrasive tool2,3. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
