The authors explore a version of non-attachment, a prominent theme in Asian philosophies and religion. Topics discussed include the importance of eliminating attachment to self and other misguided ideasto the teaching on suffering in Buddhist traditions, and attachments that are sometimes avoided even if it is part of the non-selfish aspiration.
