Abstract

Due to hardware constraints in the early stages of video game creation, each new game needed to be designed from the ground up. However, because to developments in technology and the requirement for faster development cycles, the notion of game engines emerged later in the industry. Engines for games are software that can be reuse layers that allow the separate development of game components like as stages, visuals, and so on from the heart of the game. This research examined and contrasted 14 existing engines for games, which ranged from the most complex to the most basic. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
