Abstract

Building information modelling is crucial for the proactive management of construction since it has a big influence on the buildings' performance characteristics and reduction of waste. Infrastructure is made to be recycled when it is destroyed, which lessens its impact on the environment and energy usage. Building information modelling, or BIM is crucial for the proactive management of construction since it has a big influence on the buildings' performance characteristics and reduction of waste. Building information modelling (BIM) and its use in the construction sector was the subject of a meta-analysis study that included 2767 papers. Infrastructure is made to be recycled when it is destroyed, which lessens its impact on the environment and energy usage. Building information modelling is crucial for the proactive management of construction since it has a big influence on the buildings' quality of performance and the reduction of waste. Internet of Things (IoT) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) integration in the construction sector from 2011 to 2023. Based on IC, EC, and high-quality assessment requirements, 87 research papers were chosen. The BIM industry has been gradually expanding, especially during the past six years. Of the chosen research, 83.78% were published in journal sources and 25.5% in proceedings. The concentrated on the adoption of BIM, with 50.05% of it focusing on the integration of BIM and IoT devices. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
