Abstract

Thérèse Martín and Edith Stein are two figures with their own personalities, who, despite the differences between them, have many elements in common. An in-depth analysis of both subjects reveals the hidden harmony between these two modern Discalced Carmelites. The German philosopher knew how to capture the greatness of the French saint, and to benefit from her teaching. There are many elements of Steinian spirituality that have been enriched and confirmed by the doctrine of Thérèse. The experienced Doctor of Philosophy had no qualms about turning to the teaching of the surprising Doctor of the Church. A certain human and religious connaturality summarizes the legacies of both Teresas: Thérèse of the Child Jesus and Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
