Phloroglucinol/ritodrine: Chest tightness, hypokalaemia and drug exposure during pregnancy: 3 case reports.

A retrospective study of 211 female patients between July 2019 and July 2021 found cases of chest tightness and hypokalaemia in pregnant women receiving ritodrine or phloroglucinol for miscarriage prevention. Three patients received IV ritodrine or phloroglucinol, with two developing chest tightness and hypokalaemia due to ritodrine and one experiencing chest tightness from phloroglucinol.
