Abstract
- An experimental investigation has been made into the effects of a high-intensity impact on the pH value and temperature of water. Water pH and temperature dynamics has been determined at various regimes of acoustic impact on the specimens. Acoustic impact regimes have been established at which there is a maximum rise in the pH value and a drop in temperature. The dependence of the heat transfer rate on the intensity of acoustic vibrations has been defined. A comparison has been made of the obtained experimental results on variation of water pH in cooling with a known dependence. The results obtained in this investigation have been compared with experimental data of other authors who have investigated the behavior of water pH in ultrasonic, laser, electromagnetic, and mechanical impacts.
