Therapeutic Inertia: Still a Big Problem.

The article addresses the critical issue of therapeutic inertia in diabetes care. Topics include the American Diabetes Association's Overcoming Therapeutic Inertia (OTI) initiative; the development of a patient engagement toolkit that provides resources for better patient-provider interactions and adherence to care plans; and the ongoing need for additional guidance and tools to effectively address therapeutic inertia and improve patient outcomes in diabetes management.
