Infective endocarditis is an uncommon disease but is associated with a high morbidity and mortality rate. Embolic events are frequent and life-threatening complications. In nearly half of cases, these embolic events can be asymptomatic. We report a case of a young patient admitted to our department for the management of infective endocarditis with significant mitral insufficiency complicated by multiple embolic events.
