Abstract

The article discusses a case study of a 58-year-old woman with recurrent endometrial cancer who developed Aspergillus-superinfected pulmonary metastases following treatment with lenvatinib and pembrolizumab. The patient experienced worsening respiratory symptoms and was diagnosed with invasive aspergillosis. This case highlights the importance of considering invasive fungal infections as a differential diagnosis in patients undergoing immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy for cancer. The study also emphasizes the effectiveness of lenvatinib and pembrolizumab in treating advanced endometrial cancer. [Extracted from the article]
