Stability of new functional equations and partial multipliers in Banach *-algebras.

Abstract
- This paper mainly studies new additive functional equations f(x + y/n0) = f(x) + f(y)/n0 f(λx +(λy/n0) = f(λx) + f(λy/n0 where n0 is a positive integer with n0 ≠ 1, and λ > 0 is a fixed constant. We prove the Hyers-Ulam stability for the above additive functional equations by using fixed point method in complex normed spaces. Further, we establish some new results about partial multipliers related to additive functional equations in complex Banach *-algebras. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
