PETER BORNEMISZA A ŠINTAVSKÁ TLAČIAREŇ.

Author presents the personal bibliography Peter Bornemisza a šintavská tlačiareň (Peter Bornemisza and the Šintava printing house) published in 2023 on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of Bornemisza's arrival in Šintava. It is the third book dedicated to this preacher, bishop, printing house founder and important personality of the 16th century. The bibliography contains 202 chronologically arranged records consisting of old prints, facsimiles, Slovak books, monographs, anthologies, theses, articles, as well as electronic documents. The author highlights the bilingual introductory parts of the bibliography and its sophisticated graphic aspect, including the initials that Bornemisza used in his prints. The publication can be considered the very first thematic bibliography, not only in Slovakia, but within the entire Hungarian territory. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
