Abstract

The article discusses the publication of Version 3.0 of the CLER Pathways to Excellence, which provides expectations for an optimal clinical learning environment to achieve safe and high-quality patient care. The CLER Pathways are organized into six focus areas and serve as a tool to promote discussions and actions to optimize the clinical learning environment. Version 3.0 introduces a new focus area on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), recognizing the importance of diverse and inclusive clinical learning environments.
