Abstract
- A 63-year-old man with a history of morbid obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus, and other health conditions developed necrotizing pancreatitis while being treated with semaglutide. He presented to the emergency department with severe symptoms and was found to have acute necrotizing pancreatitis. Despite medical intervention, his condition deteriorated rapidly, leading to multi-organ failure and ultimately death. The acute pancreatitis was considered to be a result of the semaglutide treatment. [Extracted from the article]
