Abstract

A 7-month-old girl with a complex medical history experienced lack of efficacy during treatment with nitric oxide and unspecified antibiotics for hypoxic respiratory failure. Despite receiving these treatments, her chronic hypoxic respiratory failure did not improve. The girl had a history of multiple medical issues, including a partial chromosome 14 deletion, late-preterm birth, and various respiratory complications. She was eventually discharged with a diagnosis of bronchopulmonary dysplasia, pulmonary hypertension, epilepsy, and continued respiratory support at home. [Extracted from the article]
