Abstract
- The article discusses a study designed to describe the experiences of nurse leaders as they managed nursing staff and their practice settings during the COVID-19 pandemic. Cited are the nurse leaders' associated intensity to distress, and the mechanisms they used to alleviate stress, their perceptions on importance of and challenges associated with specific manager competencies, and the strengths and limitations of the study.
