Abstract
- This article discusses a case report and literature review on the levels of serum vitamin B12 during chemotherapy for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). DLBCL is a common type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and the DA-EPOCH-R regimen is being studied as a treatment option. The article presents the case of a 64-year-old male with DLBCL who underwent chemotherapy and experienced fluctuations in serum vitamin B12 levels. The study suggests that monitoring serum vitamin B12 levels may be a useful auxiliary index for assessing short-term chemotherapeutic response in DLBCL patients. The authors also propose the need for methodological improvements in measuring serum vitamin B12 levels. [Extracted from the article]
