Abstract

This article explores the use of phosphorescent paint in both art and chemistry lessons. It highlights a project where 7th grade students created their own phosphorescent paint using zinc sulfide, which they then used to create artwork and learn about energy conversion and chemical reactions. The article also provides instructions for creating a phosphorescent plate and conducting experiments with the paint in the chemistry classroom. Additionally, the document discusses the use of a pen with a built-in LED ball for drawing with phosphorescent paint, as well as using different light sources to create drawings and shadow shapes. It concludes by emphasizing the educational benefits of incorporating phosphorescent materials in the classroom. [Extracted from the article]
